All afternoon the other day I had some MAJOR cravings. Sweets, alcohol, you name it. I finally realized I was just hungry, so I promptly made a giant dinner which helped tremendously.
I find when I cut my carbs back my hunger goes WAY down along with my normal hunger cues. Apparently I just need to make sure I am aware that cravings are more then likely tied to just plain being hungry.

Meals from the day:
B – 3 scrambled eggs with salsa, bacon, mate
L – None
D – leftover roasted chicken, squash, carrots, potatoes, and wilted spinach (double size)
Snacks – None

I often used to say to my sister when she was pregnant and craving things “are you sure that you are not just hungry!” someone else has finally pointed this idea out1
