Nourished Meadow is an extension of my passion for exploring a healthy lifestyle. I currently follow a hunter gatherer type program, aka Paleo, exploring all this entails from food to fitness. I used to have a laundry list of health issues that I can gladly say are almost totally resolved through a balanced diet, healthy movement, and mental awareness.
Food wise I eat plenty of meats, veggies, healthy saturated fats, with mild amounts of nuts and low sugar fruits. I have been gluten free for over 6 years, and I tend to avoid most grains.
I post a daily vlog (video journal) at the moment, including everything I eat in a day along with recipes, shopping trips, techniques, and various odds and ends. My raw fed felines will show up quite often, to see more of them visit Pet Meadow.
Thanks for stopping by!!

I’ve been lurking for awhile but learning a lot from your journey and vlogs! I was so excited when you started posting again!
(I currently have like 131415 diagnoses and I’m trying to work on it myself instead of relying on a bunch of medications to get fix it)
However, I just wanted to suggest, for headaches. I know there’s obviously painkillers and such but have you ever tried Tiger Balm? Some people are against it but I get killer migraines and nothing works for me, short of IV medications, except for Tiger Balm. It’s just a topical analgesic – I just put a thin layer on my forehead and temples and it takes the edge off a headache in minutes for me! I also grind my teeth like crazy so sometimes my jaws are super sore and I dab a bit on at the joint and it helps so much. Well, it works amazingly for almost any pain, really.
Hello Lurker
I do use Tiger Balm, both kinds. My headaches are usually always muscle tension based. Starts in the middle of my back, goes to shoulders, then neck, then jaw, then headache. When it is getting bad I start clenching my teeth at night and wake up with a killer headache. Acupuncture REALLY helps this, but heating pads, tiger balm, and worst case ibuprofen usually keep it in check. 7 years ago it was horrible and nothing helped, so I guess the fact that it is more rare and usually controllable I am thankful for.
Thanks for watching!! I am hopeful that someday our medical community can figure out how to connect the dots on systemic issues rather then just prescribing a gazillion drugs….one day.
